Anthropometric and Physiological Changes in Bodybuilders During the COVID Pandemic

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic infects athletes in different ways, and some ceased their training due to the pandemic. Many others reduced workout closure of sports venues, could continue as usual for a while. Objectives: aims this study can be divided into two categories: (1) Test between-group effect levels over six weeks (2) test within-group changes regarding body composition fitness levels. Methods: Thirty-six male bodybuilders (age = 24 - 33) with at least years experience volunteered participate. were groups, those who healthy continued program (CTR, n 12), (HWT, infected (INF, 12). maximal muscle strength chest press squat before after was measured participants. It is recommended that have recovered coronavirus should closely monitored so medical interventions promptly provided if necessary.
